Laboratorios Alter collaborates with healthcare organisations and professionals for the benefit of their patients. Medicines for Europe, the European business association of the generic and bio-similar pharmaceutical industry, approved the Code of Conduct on Interactions with the Healthcare Community of Medicines for Europe to ensure that the industry's work with healthcare professionals and organisations is well known and understood by society and the players involved. As the national association member of Medicines for Europe, Asociación Española de Medicamentos Genéricos (AESEG - Spanish Association of Generic Medicines) has adopted a new Code of Conduct on Interactions with the Healthcare Community, which includes the ethical principles and obligations given by the code of Medicines for Europe. As of July 2017, as a member company of AESEG, Laboratorios Alter is required to publish its value transfers to healthcare organisations and professionals during the previous year.
